The Story
If silence protects violence, culture can help break that silence.
Vision
A society where women and girls, men an boys live free from violence.
Mission
Mobilizing artists and communities to challenge rape culture through creativity and dialogue.
Over the years, through my work as an artist and cultural producer, I have often witnessed how powerful art can be in opening conversations that people otherwise struggle to have.
Again and again, I encountered stories—sometimes spoken quietly, sometimes not spoken at all—about experiences of sexual violence and the silence that surrounds them. What struck me most was not only the violence itself, but the difficulty people had in naming it, discussing it, and supporting survivors openly. It made me realize that while laws and institutions are essential, culture also plays a powerful role in shaping what we accept, what we question, and what we are able to speak about.
From that realization, Unmute Triple A was born. The idea is simple: to mobilize artists and creative voices to transform silence into dialogue. Through storytelling, artistic expression, and community engagement, Unmute seeks to create spaces where people can listen, speak, and imagine safer and more respectful ways of living together.
The program we are launching now, Safe and Sound, is the first step in building that platform.
